A More Comfortable Path Through Pregnancy
Prenatal chiropractic care is a well-suited option for expecting mothers looking to manage pain and stay comfortable through pregnancy. We provide care across your entire pregnancy, from the first trimester through the third, adjusting our techniques as your body changes. Your first appointment runs about 45 minutes and includes a consultation, exam, and treatment; follow-up visits are about 15 minutes and include whichever treatment options fit your current stage.
Every pregnancy is a little different, but the most common source of pain shows up on one side of the low back or pelvis. As your body accommodates your growing baby, it’s very common for the sacroiliac (SI) joint — where the lumbar spine meets the pelvis — to become a source of discomfort. SI joint pain can radiate into the glutes, thighs, or legs, and can occasionally cause numbness or tingling along the front or outer thigh. Every case is a little different, and pain levels vary from patient to patient.
We’re experienced in gentle chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue therapy for pregnancy-related pain, and we also offer the Webster Technique, a specialized sacral adjustment that supports optimal fetal positioning.
